Umar Buba Bindir (born 11 August 1961) is a Nigerian agricultural engineer and currently serves as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Adamawa State, Nigeria.

Life and Career

Bindir was born on 11 August 1961 in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, northeastern Nigeria.

  • B.Sc. (First Class Honours) in Agricultural Technology – University of Maiduguri
  • M.Sc. in Agricultural Machinery Engineering – Cranfield University
  • Ph.D. in Agricultural Machinery Design – Cranfield University
  • Completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Benue State
