Biography

  • Birth & Origin:

    • Born to Captain Joseph Din and Christy Din.
    • Native of Plateau State, Nigeria.
    • Celebrates her birthday on November 11.
  • Education:

    • Completed a foundation course in law at the University of Warwick.
    • Obtained her Law degree (LL.B) from the University of Kent, England.
    • Attended the Nigerian Law School and received her B.L. qualification.
  • Career:

    • Appointed Director of News at TVC News in October 2018.
    • Has worked with various Nigerian media organizations, including:
      • News 24
      • Channels Television (1994–2002): Served as programme producer on the foreign and diplomatic desks, and also as a newscaster and editor.
      • Silverbird Television (National)
    • Worked as a freelancer for CNN and Al Jazeera.
  • Recognition:

    • In 2020, Women in Journalism Africa (WIJAFRICA) named her among the
      "25 Most Powerful Women in Journalism in Nigeria."
