Shehu Usman Abubakar was a Nigerian traditional ruler who served as the 10th Emir of Gombe from January 1984 until his death in May 2014. He was instrumental in the creation of Gombe State in 1996 and served as the Chairman of the Council of Emirs and Chiefs from 1984.
Early Life and Education
Shehu Abubakar was born in Doma area of Gombe in 1938, the fifth son of Mallam Abubakar Umar, the 9th Emir of Gombe.
