Olomu of Iwoye-Ketu
Olomu was a paramount traditional ruler of Iwoye-Ketu, a town in Ogun State, southwestern Nigeria.
He was the pioneer king of Iwoye-Ketu who introduced Orisa Oluwa, a deity in Yoruba mythology.
Cultural Significance
Orisa Oluwa is a revered deity that forbids the use of umbrellas in Iwoye-Ketu, a tradition that continues to this day.
