Olaide Omolola Olaogun Emmanuel (born July 9, 1986), popularly known as Olaide Olaogun, is a Nigerian film actress and model. She gained prominence as a Lux beauty soap ambassador and has worked across both English and Yoruba-language productions.


Background and Education

Olaogun was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on July 9, 1986. She grew up with supportive parents and attended African Church Model College for her secondary education. She later studied English at the University of Lagos.


Career

Olaogun came into the limelight after presenting "Soul Sisters", a television show produced by Wale Adenuga Productions, and through her role in the Yoruba-language series Super Story.

In 2007, she became the Lux soap ambassador, taking over from Nollywood star Genevieve Nnaji, and served in this role until 2009. She was also a brand ambassador for:

  • Diva Hair Extensions
  • Fuman Juice
  • United Bank for Africa (UBA)

Private Life

Olaide Olaogun married Babatunde Ojora Emmanuel, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2016.
