Law Mefor is a Nigerian academic psychologist, lecturer, writer, poet, and media consultant. He currently serves as the Commissioner for Information in Anambra State, appointed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo in September 2024 and sworn in at the State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Awka.

Upon his appointment, Mefor announced his plans to:

  • Promote media literacy among the public to curb misinformation.
  • Leverage technology to modernize the Ministry of Information, making it responsive, data-driven, and efficient.

  • Advocated for citizens’ education and government visibility in line with HURIWA’s charge to improve civic engagement.
