Godwin Akwaji (died June 2020) was a Nigerian politician and lawmaker who represented the Obudu constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly.

Akwaji served as a member of the Cross River State House of Assembly, representing the Obudu constituency. He was known for his contributions to the development of his local constituency and was an active member of the state legislature until his death.
Death
Godwin Akwaji passed away in June 2020 at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH). He had displayed symptoms consistent with COVID-19 before his death.
Succession
Following his death, his wife, Maria Godwin Akwaji, was elected to succeed him as the representative for Obudu constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly.
