Georgina Onuoha (born September 29, 1980) is a Nollywood actress, model, television personality, and philanthropist. She hails from Anambra State in southeastern Nigeria.

Early Life and Education

Georgina was born and raised in Lagos, where she attended Badagry Grammar School and obtained her West African Senior Certificate.
She proceeded to Lagos State University (LASU), where she earned two degrees: - An associate degree in International Law and Diplomacy - A bachelor's degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies

Career

Georgina joined the Nigerian movie industry in 1990 at the age of 10.
She rose to fame in 1992 for her role in the film Living in Bondage.
She was later nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

She has been vocal about political and social issues, including: - Criticizing the Nigerian government for the removal of fuel subsidies in 2016 - Speaking out about her personal health struggles, revealing in March 2016 that she had suffered from an unnamed illness for 8 years - Publicly criticizing actor Yul Edochie over his decision to take a second wife

Personal Life

She is married to Ifeanyi Igwegbe, who is based in the United States. The couple has two daughters.
